When SMS-based two-factor authentication is enabled, you will receive SMS text messages containing a one-time verification code in the following situations only:
Verification codes expire after 5 minutes and can only be used once. BuilderOS will never send marketing, promotional, or advertising SMS text messages.

Your phone number is stored securely and is used exclusively for two-factor authentication. BuilderOS does not share, sell, or distribute your phone number to any third parties. Our SMS service is provided through Twilio, which processes messages in compliance with industry security standards.
